This Spanish brutalist set from the 1960s consists of two low stools and a round table, all crafted entirely from solid wood. The dominant tone is a deep, chocolate-brown with irregular color variations, shifting from nearly blackened spots to warm, reddish-brown highlights. A matte finish emphasizes the hand-crafted quality and the age of the ensemble. The stools feature tall, narrow backrests adorned with a carved sunburst motif and a distinctive cut-out at the top, evoking folk ornamentation. Thick, irregularly shaped seats with visible tool marks and uneven edges reinforce the brutalist, artisanal character. Robust, outward-angled legs with exposed joinery complete the construction, while the matching table repeats these themes: three sturdy, uneven legs support a thick, round top with a subtly scalloped edge. The pronounced wood grain and texture, along with a slightly rough surface, minor scratches, patina, and abrasions, all contribute to the set’s authenticity.
