This double-sided travel perfume bottle—flacon double—is a refined example of French vanity craftsmanship from the late 19th to early 20th century. The construction features two symmetrical, thick-walled compartments made of hand-cut crystal glass, each adorned with deep, geometric facets that break and scatter light, creating a striking interplay of reflections. Both chambers are capped with hinged, capsule-shaped lids crafted from silver, finished with bright vermeil gilding and smooth reserve cartouches intended for engraving a monogram or crest.
