This Art Deco mirrored tray, dating from the 1930s–1940s, embodies the restrained geometry typical of Central European interwar design. The frame is crafted from chromed metal, featuring a cool, polished surface that accentuates the strict linearity of the piece. Cylindrical handles made from medium-toned, warm brown wood bring tactile contrast, decorated with three horizontal chrome bands and finished at the ends with chrome caps bearing concentric circle motifs. The central mirrored glass panel maintains a high-gloss, clear reflection, especially evident when light falls from the side. The rectangle is crisply defined, with pronounced right angles and parallel edges. Functional as a tray for serving drinks—glasses, decanter, tumblers—it also lends itself to use as a decorative centrepiece or display element.
