This French trinket box from the 1930s presents a low, round silhouette cast in bronze, embodying the spirit of Art Deco. Its matte surface features a warm, aged patina with subtle, irregular golden highlights, especially visible on the lid and edges—remnants of its original gilding. The lid is crowned with a raised, openwork medallion of stylized floral motifs and a small rounded knob. Richly embossed swirling floral and foliate patterns decorate the sides, echoing the geometric naturalism of the era. The box rests on three integrated, subtly shaped feet that blend seamlessly with the overall composition. Inside, a green plush lining offers a soft counterpoint to the metallic exterior. Measuring 8.5 cm in diameter and 4.5 cm in height, it remains in good vintage condition with a gentle patina, minor scratches, and a small dent on the lid—marks consistent with its age and authentic use.
