ABOUT PRODUCTID 41028
This antique vanity set, attributed to the Viennese Lenck manufactory and dating from the early 20th century, comprises a hand mirror and a hairbrush. Each piece is crafted from silver-plated copper and features decorative guilloché enamel in a deep, noble cobalt blue. The enamel displays a radiant, wavy pattern with a lustrous, water-like effect that shimmers under the light. The edges and handles, finished in a warm gold tone, highlight the elegant contours, while small, rounded finials add a touch of lightness. The mirror is fitted with an original, beveled crystal glass, and the brush features light, natural bristles set into the metal frame. The set is preserved in very good authentic condition, with minor age-appropriate signs—such as tiny dents and localized patina on the enamel—that emphasize the handcrafted nature and character of its era. This set evokes an era when daily rituals were elevated to the level of ceremony and boudoir objects were as much about artistry as function. The depth of blue and radiant guilloché recall early morning sunlight glancing off the water’s surface. The forms embody the calm of Art Nouveau, merging organic lines and refined detail, as if to capture fleeting moments and lend a sense of luxury to everyday life
