This pressed glass vase from the Hortensja glassworks, dating to the 1920s/30s, is a classic example of Polish Art Deco. Crafted from mass-coloured glass in a translucent, cool light blue tone, it exhibits a balance between the delicacy of the material and the sharply defined relief details. The predominantly matte surface is accented by a subtle gloss on the raised decorative motifs and the scalloped rim. The body is adorned with intricate floral and geometric patterns characteristic of the era, while the lower section transitions into vertical fluting, emphasizing the architectural discipline of the design. The vase stands on a stepped, square base, lending it both stability and a pronounced presence. Its condition is excellent: there are no chips or cracks, and no signs of restoration; the only mark is a minor factory flaw in the form of a matte area, natural for the production process. This vase evokes the spirit of the interwar period
