ABOUT PRODUCTID 4432
This vase, produced by the Józefina glassworks in Szklarska Poręba around 1932, exemplifies the refined craftsmanship and aesthetics of the Art Deco period. Made from crystal glass in a subtle citron-yellow shade, it features a tulip flower-inspired form, with a flared, scalloped rim and a body adorned with precisely hand-cut, flat facets. The geometric structure is characteristic of the 1930s, while the highly polished surface enhances the clarity and brilliance of the material. The massive, hexagonal base provides stability and a strong visual foundation. The color deepens towards the thicker base and transitions to a nearly transparent effect at the top, creating a harmonious gradient. The vase measures 21.5 cm in height and 13 cm in diameter. Its form evokes an image of a glass tulip capturing the morning light and color on the prewar slopes of the Sudetes. Smooth facets reflect and scatter light, as if the object were recounting a story of fascination with clarity, order, and the subtlety of 1930s craftsmanship. The vase may be displayed on a console made of dark wood or a marble surface, where its citron hue will be highlighted by the contrasting background. It would work well in a classic modernist living room or an eclectic collector's arrangement, paired with geometric
