This vase from the Józefina glassworks, dating to around 1932, is a refined example of Art Deco glassmaking. Crafted from high-quality crystal in a pale lemon-yellow hue, it features a slender silhouette inspired by a tulip flower – the gently flared, scalloped rim flows into a faceted, geometric body, all resting on a substantial hexagonal base that provides stability and harmonious proportions. The hand-cut, flat facets create a play of light on the glossy, polished surface, with the color slightly more saturated at the thicker base and rim.
