ABOUT PRODUCTID 4588
This artistic glass vase, designed by Jaroslav Beranek and produced around 1960 at the renowned Skrdlovice glassworks in Czechoslovakia, exemplifies the tradition of hand-formed, multicolored glass. The vase presents a substantial, sculptural silhouette, with thick, heavy glass shaped into flowing, biomorphic contours. The rim is defined by three irregular lobes, emphasizing its asymmetrical, organic character. A saturated blue dominates the piece, enriched by subtle tonal gradients that give depth and a sense of movement within the glass. The surface is highly glossy, almost mirror-like, while the base is ground flat for stability and to showcase the craftsmanship. The dimensions are 17.5 cm in height, 12 cm in length, and 8 cm in width. The vase is in excellent condition, with the original finish preserved and no visible signs of wear, chips, or cracks.
