ABOUT PRODUCTID 14624
This ceramic vase from the 1960s or 70s was produced in Germany using the distinctive reactive glaze technique, characteristic of mid-century modern and West German design of that era. The vessel features a bold gradient of deep blue glaze with scattered, irregular white speckles, resulting in a subtle 'snowy' texture that accentuates its handcrafted quality. Its form echoes amphora archetypes: classically rounded at the body, tapering gently to the base, and finished with a broad, softly flared rim. The rim and interior are coated in warm brown glaze, contrasting with the cool external colour palette. The vase's surface is smooth and evenly glazed, free of handles or decorative reliefs. It is preserved in very good vintage condition, with no cracks, chips, or noticeable signs of use, and the glaze remains unscratched.
