The Cyntia vase, designed by Zbigniew Horbowy for the "Barbara" Artistic Glassworks in Polanica Zdrój, is a distinctive example of Polish glass modernism from the 1970s and 1980s. Made from mass-colored soda glass, it features a saturated cobalt blue as the dominant hue, accentuated by wide, opalescent white bands swirling asymmetrically around the bulbous, rounded body.
