This vase from the Diana Ciselé series, produced by Loetz Witwe in 1899, is an outstanding example of late 19th-century Austrian Art Nouveau glass. It is hand-blown from opalescent glass in a luminous yellow-green tone, interwoven with subtle gold and pink reflections that shift depending on the angle of the light. The surface is finished to a high gloss, displaying Loetz’s characteristic iridescence and a delicate, crackled ciselé pattern that creates a near-metallic depth. Distinctive elongated teardrop-shaped accents in iridescent blue-violet are applied vertically around the slender body,
