This Dutch Delft vase, dating from the late 18th to early 19th century, exemplifies the artistry of Dutch ceramic craftsmanship, signed by Adrien Kocks (AK) from the renowned Delft manufactory. Crafted from porcelain, the vase features a bulbous body on a subtly flared foot and a domed lid crowned with a sculpted animal finial. The surface is adorned with hand-painted polychrome decoration: a warm creamy white background is enriched with vibrant cobalt blue, deep orange, olive green, and yellow accents, forming symmetrical, stylized floral and geometric motifs. A central cartouche displays a figure in an oriental landscape, reflecting the chinoiserie style characteristic of Delftware from this era and highlighting both Dutch and East Asian artistic influences.
