This vase, designed by Jerzy Słuczan-Orkusz in the 1970s for the Krakow Glass Institute, is an example of Polish mid-century modern design. Made entirely of high-quality glass colored in a vibrant, warm orange, it features a striking combination of a spherical, massive body and a proportionally slender neck that flares at the mouth. The surface is finished to a glossy polish, reflecting light evenly to emphasize the saturation of color and the precision of craftsmanship.
