This vase, designed by Jaroslav Beranek for the renowned Skrdlovice glassworks, was crafted in Czechoslovakia around 1960. Handmade from thick, heavy glass, it features a dominant amber-brown hue with high transparency, accented by clear glass at the edges and base. The organic, biomorphic form—with pronounced, irregular protrusions and undulating contours—gives the object a sculptural presence, further enhanced by a glossy, polished surface. The base is ground flat, reflecting meticulous finishing, while an impressed signature in the glass attests to its authenticity.
