Produced by the Chodzież Porcelain Factory in the 1950s, this vase is a notable example of Polish modernist design in the New Look style. The form is classic and elongated, with a gently flared rim and a slender ovoid body set on a narrow base. Made from porcelainite, the surface is glossy and smooth. Dominated by deep black, the color scheme is enlivened by vertical stripes in cream and off-white. Each stripe features a different decorative motif: some show grid patterns, others small circles or abstract forms, creating a rhythmic, dynamic effect typical of Polish mid-century modern. The factory mark is visible under the glaze on the base.
