The 'Optical' vase model 914 was designed by Rudolf Schrötter and produced by the Rosice Glassworks (Sklo Union) in Czechoslovakia during the 1950s. Made from pressed glass, it features a vibrant, transparent turquoise hue with a cool undertone and a highly polished, glossy surface. The body is adorned with a geometric, symmetrical relief of repeated oval lens motifs, lending the vase a distinctive tactile structure. Its form tapers gently upwards, while the thick, stable base is subtly hexagonal, reinforcing its modernist aesthetic.
