This large Scandinavian glass vase, designed by Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta in the 1960s, exemplifies the mastery of the sommerso technique within the context of Scandinavian modernism. The thick, elongated oval form stands 27.5 cm tall, structured around a deep cobalt blue core that subtly transitions into a pale blue-grey hue, all encased in a perfectly clear, glossy layer. Its slender proportions and gently rounded lines create a minimalist silhouette, highlighted by the harmonious gradient of color.
