The 'Stożek' vase, designed by Zbigniew Horbowy for the Barbara Art Glassworks in Polanica-Zdrój, exemplifies Polish glass modernism from the 1970s. Its geometric, conical silhouette is emphasized by a pronounced neck constriction and a wide, trumpet-shaped mouth. A vivid gradient of yellow-green tones flows from deep green at the base to a nearly lime shade at the top, complemented by milky, opalescent transitions along the edges. The glass surface, partially transparent with a satin sheen, creates a sense of depth and a gentle diffusion of light. The hand-formed body features an applied circular medallion, breaking the smoothness of the glass with a sculptural accent. Stability is provided by the thick, lens-cut base. The vase is preserved in very good condition, with no damage or losses. This vase embodies the spirit of experimentation of the 1970s, when Polish designers embraced bold forms and deliberate color contrasts. The 'Stożek' form speaks in the language of modernism: it seeks order in geometry yet welcomes the organic nuances of light and color. The yellow-green transitions evoke associations with a vibrant, spring palette, while the medallion on the body—like the imprint of a craftsman’s hand—reveals the unique character of hand-formed glass. The vase can be paired with minimalist teak or wood veneer furniture to highlight its modernist origins. It works well on a light marble console or alongside sculptural objects from the 1970s. It is worth displaying with a single branch to accentuate its sculptural form and interplay of light,
