This Secessionist cabaret for vodka glasses, dating from the early 20th century and originating from the Austro-Hungarian Empire, exemplifies the applied arts of its era. The set comprises an elongated, geometric stand made of silver-plated brass, drawing the eye with its slender silhouette and distinct handle with a central diamond-shaped cutout. The frame accommodates six vodka glasses, each resting in individual round compartments; subtle variations appear among the glasses—most are decorated with typical Art Nouveau cuts and engravings (diamonds, rosettes, fan motifs), while one is unmatched. The metal frame is joined with visible, utilitarian rods and rests on four small ball feet. Its patinated, matte surface displays clear signs of age, darkened areas, and tarnish that lend a sense of historic authenticity.
