The porcelain body, glazed to a high shine, is shaped after a traditional canteen: a broad base, a short neck, and gently tapering curves, measuring 25 cm in height and 18 cm in width. The deep brown color is punctuated by darker, concentric rings decorating the dial, while raised, grayish hour markers at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock add a sense of dimensionality and contrast. The remaining hours are marked by small, dark brown dots.
