The octagonal Weimar wall clock is an example of 1970s German design, reflecting the spirit of the mid-century modern era. Its robust construction features a solid oak frame in a warm, natural tone, protected by a semi-matte lacquer. The dial is made of brushed brass with a distinctive golden sheen, adorned with clear, stylized black Arabic numerals. The classic hands, crafted from black lacquered aluminum, are slightly openwork in design, while the flat mineral glass is set flush within the wooden frame. The octagonal shape emphasizes the geometric discipline of the design, and the proportions remain balanced and symmetrical. The quartz mechanism is powered by a standard AA battery. The clock is preserved in very good condition—with noble patina and minor discoloration near the 5 and 6 numerals, typical for authentic pieces from this era.
