This sunburst wall clock from the 1960s, produced by Müller in Germany, combines brass, steel, and glass in an iconic mid-century form. The domed central dial is protected by a glass cover and features a two-tone scheme: a deep, glossy black center and an outer ring in satin, ivory-white with subtle metallic sheen. Gold-toned, raised hour markers and large numerals at '12', '3', '6', and '9' echo the elegance of the brass bezel. Gold hands differentiate with a geometric, arrow-shaped hour hand and a slim minute hand. A dynamic arrangement of gold-finished rods and sculptural, openwork black steel 'petals' radiates around the dial, evoking classic sunburst rays typical of Space Age and mid-century modern.
