The Weimar wall clock from the 1970s was manufactured in Germany (GDR), embodying the era’s modernist approach to everyday objects. The square body with gently rounded corners is crafted from glossy white plastic with a smooth finish, while a slightly domed, transparent acrylic cover protects the face. The dial features clear black Arabic numerals and minute markers on a white background, complemented by classic black metal hour and minute hands and a slender red second hand. The corners of the frame are adorned with red floral and star-like motifs—two larger medallion forms and two smaller angular shapes—introducing the geometric and folk accents characteristic of the period. The center bears the inscriptions “WEIMAR QUARTZ” and “MADE IN GDR,” confirming its authenticity and provenance. This clock is powered by a single AA battery.
