This Heico wall lamp, produced in Germany in the 1990s, exemplifies decorative design aimed at children’s interiors. Crafted from high-quality molded plastic, it features a saturated, slightly warm shade of red offset by glossy black details: spots on the wings, shaped head, antennae, and six carefully modeled legs. The gently curved, domed body with a symmetrical central seam faithfully mimics the form of a ladybug. Subtle white highlights on the head add depth, while the construction’s clean, concealed joints and discretely integrated electrical system emphasize precision in craftsmanship. When illuminated, the lamp emits a diffused, soft light through the colored body, providing a gentle, atmospheric glow.
