LILLE 18 is a wall lamp made of aluminum, designed by Anne Dorthe Vester in 2025. The construction consists of concentric, disc-like layers with a diameter of 18 cm and a depth of 9 cm, finished in a vivid, glossy orange. The smooth, lacquered surface emphasizes precise lines and clean transitions between elements. Its compact proportions and graphic character make it both a functional lighting accent and a decorative feature, suitable for residential and commercial interiors. The lamp's form speaks the language of contemporary design, where layering evokes a sense of rhythm and movement. The orange color enlivens the space, while the glossy finish reflects light, creating a dynamic play of reflections on the wall. There is a playful note inspired by pop-art and Memphis aesthetics—the geometric silhouette draws the eye without overpowering the setting. LILLE 18 works well as a single accent on a uniform wall, especially when paired with minimalist furniture and a neutral color palette. It can be combined with other lamps in contrasting shades or arranged in a row to emphasize the rhythm of an interior. It is worth pairing with metal or glass accessories to enhance the reflective effect, as well as with textiles in cool greys or whites for a balanced composition. The lamp uses a GX53 light source. LED bulbs with a light output equivalent to a traditional 40W bulb are recommended. The light source is not included.
