This industrial wall lamp by Pragotron is an original 1950s Czech railway station clock, thoughtfully repurposed into a decorative lighting piece. The robust body is crafted from dark brown bakelite with a glossy finish, surrounding a gently domed, ivory-toned face. The dial features minimalist, rectangular black hour markers and thick clock hands—elements emblematic of mid-century industrial design principles. The Pragotron logo at the base asserts the clock’s provenance, grounding it firmly within postwar Czechoslovak modernism. The smooth, high-sheen bakelite contrasts subtly with the matte face, emphasizing its geometric silhouette.
