This vintage wall lamp, type 0002, from 1960s Czechoslovakia, exemplifies modernist wall lighting. The construction features anodized aluminum in a warm, satin champagne gold, complemented by walnut wood accents and glass. The lamp’s cylindrical body is defined by geometric lines and balanced proportions, with the front closed by a convex, textured glass diffuser in a cool, light blue hue. At the base, a walnut detail introduces warmth to the overall composition. The lamp is equipped with a white, fabric-covered cord with an inline switch and a two-prong plug. The build is robust, with visible screws and a seamless transition between metal and glass. Designed for horizontal mounting, the lamp diffuses light through two types of glass: a matte panel above and a convex, textured glass below.
