The Frame Slim Wood M wall light, designed by Violaine d'Harcourt and handcrafted in Lisbon, features a slender mahogany veneer frame in a deep, warm brown with a matte finish. The natural wood grain is visible on the surface, while the central diffuser, made of softly textured off-white paper, gently scatters the light. The paper insert displays a distinctive undulating edge on one side, introducing an organic element to the otherwise geometric rectangular form. The lamp is defined by elongated proportions—42 cm in height, 15 cm in width, and 11 cm in depth—emphasizing verticality and visual lightness. The construction is precise, with sharp edges, seamless joints, and no visible hardware, resulting in an uninterrupted silhouette. Frame Slim Wood M speaks a visual language that balances architectural discipline with subtle natural accents. The minimalist mahogany frame forms a quiet boundary for light, while the paper diffuser—with its dynamic, flowing edge—suggests movement and delicacy. The piece conveys a sense of calm and restraint, reminiscent of light filtering through a Japanese screen. The meticulous precision is softened by the materials, reinforcing the lamp's refined, contemporary character. This wall light is well suited for living rooms, hallways, or bedrooms in minimalist, Scandinavian, or Japanese-inspired interiors. It can be paired with light wood furniture, grey or white textiles, and simple ceramic accessories. The lamp harmonizes with pale walls and diffuse daylight. It is worth combining it with matte surfaces and a muted color palette to highlight the delicacy of the paper diffuser and the depth of the mahogany frame.
