This large wall light designed by Carl Fagerlund is a distinguished example of Scandinavian design from the 1960s, created in collaboration between the renowned Swedish glassworks Orrefors and lighting manufacturer JSB. The structure consists of three leaf-shaped glass shades arranged in a fan-like composition on a highly polished, mirror-finished warm brass frame. The inner surface of the glass is satin-matte, diffusing light and emphasizing the relief of the leaf pattern, while the outer surface is smooth and glossy. The composition is characterized by balanced proportions—the central leaf is slightly larger—reflecting the mid-century modern ethos: organic forms meet the geometric precision of metalwork. Meticulous, seamless joints and the quality of the glass casting attest to a high level of craftsmanship. The lamp is preserved in excellent vintage condition, with only minimal patina on the brass typical of its age, and no damage to the glass; all elements are original and authentic.
