ABOUT PRODUCTID 5513
This rectangular mirror from the first half of the 20th century, originating from Western Europe, is set within a solid wooden frame in a deep, dark brown tone with a slightly warm undertone. The frame is finished in a semi-matte, almost satin sheen, highlighting the natural wood grain and providing a subtle, tactile texture. The outer edge is adorned with a repeating, carved decorative motif reminiscent of a twisted rope or laurel leaf, while the inner edge features a fine beaded border that lends additional refinement. The profile is moderately wide, balanced to emphasize the presence of the mirror without overwhelming it. The mirror glass itself is beveled, with faceted edges that catch and disperse light in a gentle manner. The design reflects late Art Nouveau and early Art Deco influences—ornamentation is restrained, and the overall geometry is clear and composed. The piece is in very good condition, with only minor, natural signs of age and no significant damage or traces of restoration. This mirror quietly echoes the spirit of its era: its carved frame carries the memory of a time when decoration
