This Austrian wall mirror from the 1980s features an elongated octagonal wooden frame with a matte, warm honey-brown finish. The visible natural wood grain gives it an artisanal, handcrafted presence. The frame is adorned with hand-painted floral motifs: central red roses at the top and bottom, with symmetrical vertical bands of small yellow, white, and green blossoms running up the sides. Each corner is accented by curled scrolls in dark brown and gold, underlining its folk, Alpine inspiration. The mirror glass is beveled in an elongated oval, precisely set within the frame. The piece measures 95 cm in height, 55 cm in width, and is 2 cm deep. Its condition is excellent: there are no cracks or chips, only minimal signs of use, and both the painting and structure are original and well-conserved. This mirror carries the spirit of 1980s Austria—a period when folk art continued to shape the domestic landscape.
