The large wall mirror by Schöninger “Pino Di Maio Firenze”, dating from the 1990s, exemplifies decorative design that transcends simple utility. Its rectangular frame (111 × 81 cm) is finished in matte, intentionally distressed silver with visible brush marks, subtle abrasions, and a raw, textural surface. Dynamic accents in vivid red, deep blue, and yellow—manifested as stripes, semicircular motifs, and bold black lines—create a strikingly graphic composition. Two distinctive semicircular cut-outs on the left side of the frame further accentuate its sculptural quality.
