This German wall sconce from the 1970s is crafted from gilded brass and crystal, exemplifying the decorative lighting typical of the glam and Hollywood Regency styles of its era. The structure is defined by warm, mirrored gold achieved through meticulously finished brass elements, whose surfaces reflect and amplify light. Oval brass frames encase striking, teardrop-shaped crystals, while the central sconce column is adorned with vertical rows of smaller, faceted round crystals. The transparent crystals refract light intensely, and their geometric, repetitive arrangement with pronounced rounded forms is a hallmark of 1970s decorative design.
