This mid-century modern wall sconce, crafted in Poland in the 1960s, exemplifies the thoughtful metalwork and sculptural sensibility that defined the era’s modernism. The structure is built on a steel body with a patinated copper layer, presenting a semi-matte, tactile finish with metallic highlights. At the center, a spherical white glass shade is surrounded by a symmetrical array of eight hand-formed, hammered leaves—each featuring distinct, raised detailing and an organic, stylized line. The vertically ribbed stem widens gently towards the top, accentuating the vertical rhythm. The palette is dominated by warm, dark copper tones, contrasting with the glossy white of the glass and subtle brown accents. The sconce measures 40 cm in height, 32 cm in width, and 21 cm in depth. It is fitted with a cord and switch, as well as an E27 bulb socket.
