ABOUT PRODUCTID 173
This wall sconce, designed by Adam Sadulski in 1970s Poland, is crafted from high-quality ceramic with a deep, olive green glaze. The main color transitions from a cool, saturated green at the base to lighter, warmer tones along the softly undulating, organic edges. Subtle brownish accents at the rim enhance the natural quality of the glaze and add visual depth. The entire piece is formed from a single ceramic casting with no visible seams, featuring a centrally placed E14 bulb socket. The highly glossy surface reflects light and highlights the smooth, sculptural form. The back is equipped with a mounting hole, and the original black cord with inline switch allows for use as either a wall sconce or a table lamp. It is preserved in very good condition: no chips, cracks, or repairs; the glaze is intact and the original electrical components show only minimal signs of use. This lamp echoes the voice of the 1970s, when the strict geometry of modernism gave way to flowing, organic lines. The olive glaze conjures memories of interiors where light gently spread across ceramic surfaces and decorative details expressed individuality. The sconce seems to whisper of an era searching for balance between artistic expression and everyday function—a time when simplicity provided a backdrop for distinctive accents. The sconce by Adam Sadulski can be paired with dark
