ABOUT PRODUCTID 3438
This wall lamp, designed by Klaus Link for the German manufacturer Neuhaus Leuchten in the 1970s, exemplifies space age design through its combination of lacquered metal and plastic. The lamp’s vivid orange, high-gloss finish defines its sculptural, geometric form, with a central X-shaped motif that flows seamlessly into the softly milky, white side panels with a satin surface. The body is distinctly rectangular and symmetrical, featuring gently rounded edges. Functionality is provided by two E27 light sources, and the precise connections between materials are concealed with no visible fasteners on the front. Dimensions: 46 cm wide, 23 cm high, 11 cm deep. The lamp is preserved in New Old Stock condition—never used or installed—with only minor traces of long-term storage typical for authentic, original pieces over 50 years old. This fixture echoes the voice of an era when dreams of the future were translated into bold experiments with color and lighting. The orange lacquer reflects light with the energy of the 1970s, while the symmetry and contrast of the white panels evoke the spirit of optimistic modernism. The lamp seems to recall a time when interiors were designed to inspire forward thinking and highlight the individuality of their inhabitants. Every detail is deliberate—from the gentle curve of the edges to the way light diffuses across the matte panels. This piece
