This Art Deco bonbonniere, produced by Huta Szkła Hortensja in Piotrków Trybunalski, exemplifies Polish glassmaking from the 1920s and 1930s. Crafted from pressed glass in a saturated amber tone, its glossy finish enhances the warmth and depth of the color. The distinctly geometric form, characteristic of the period, is evident in dynamic, radiating fluting and sharply angular lines. The lid is topped with a stepped finial, reminiscent of stylized lightning or crystal—a signature Art Deco motif. Both the bowl and lid feature faceted, fluted surfaces that play with light, while the slightly raised base with a scalloped edge adds decorative detail. The construction is precise, with well-finished molded seams. The condition is very good—no visible damage or chips, only minimal natural signs of use.
