ABOUT PRODUCTID 25001
This French Art Deco bonbonniere from the 1930s exemplifies decorative craftsmanship where technology and era aesthetics are united in harmonious form. The bowl and domed lid are made of chrome-plated brass with a silvery, mirror-like surface that vividly reflects light and accentuates the gently rounded contours. Two geometric handles and a cylindrical knob, crafted from lacquered wood in a pale yellow hue, provide a matte-textured contrast to the glossy metal. The handles are attached with visible screws, referencing the machine-age inspiration of Art Deco. The piece rests on a stepped, circular base, and its proportions—length 15 cm, diameter 12 cm, height 11 cm—emphasize the compactness of the design. The bonbonniere displays minor traces of age, such as fine scratches and a delicate patina on the metal, but all elements remain original, with no visible damage or repairs. Condition: very good, consistent with an authentic 1930s object
