ABOUT PRODUCTID 25048
This bonbonniere from Włocławek, designed before 1958 and hand-painted by A. Piwowarska, is a testament to Polish postwar artistic ceramics. Model 3345 is made of smooth, glazed faience in a warm, muted brown with a subtle pink undertone. The satin-gloss finish enhances the delicate surface, while the decoration—concentric circles and wavy lines in dark brown and black, accented with touches of beige—reflects the 1950s fascination with abstraction and graphic rhythm. The form is distinctly mid-century modern: an elongated oval with gently upturned, pointed ends and a slightly raised, ringed foot. Both the lid and base are adorned with radial and vertical stripes, emphasizing the handmade quality of the piece. The bonbonniere is signed by the artist and the Włocławek Pattern Center No. 2. It is preserved in very good
