This late 19th-century cast iron Christmas tree stand embodies the artisanal craftsmanship of the Art Nouveau period. Produced in Germany, it features a square base measuring 23 × 23 cm, adorned with delicate low-relief motifs of stylized pine branches, cones, bells, and floral details. These elements intertwine in harmonious, flowing lines typical of the era. The surface displays a cool, silver-grey satin-matte sheen, with visible casting lines and precisely modeled heart-shaped handles on three robust screws, which contrast with the gentle geometry of the base. The central cylinder accommodates the tree trunk and is fitted with three sturdy decorative screws for secure placement. All parts appear original, and careful restoration has preserved both the authentic patina and a refreshed finish. Condition: after professional restoration, the item is in very good condition with only minimal traces of previous use.
