The 'Adam' coffee set is a hallmark of Polish modernist design from the 1960s, created by Stanisław Skomiał for the Wałbrzych Porcelain Factory. The set includes a slender coffee pot (height 24 cm, base diameter 10 cm, length 21 cm), six cups (height 7 cm, diameter 6.6 cm), saucers (diameter 13.6 cm), a sugar bowl (height 12 cm, diameter 8 cm), and a creamer (height 8 cm). The smooth, high-quality porcelain features a lustrous, bold orange surface, interrupted by vertical white panels adorned with hand-painted, black lines in a slightly irregular geometric rhythm. The elongated and gracefully curved handles and spouts underscore the lightness and proportion of the design. The minimalist yet graphic form fits within the aesthetic of geometric abstraction and modernity of its era. All elements bear the Wałbrzych factory mark. The set is in very good condition, with only a minor chip visible on one cup.The 'Adam' set captures the pulse of the 1960s, when Polish design embraced bold color and geometric rigor as symbols of progress and optimism. Orange porcelain traversed by dynamic black lines evokes an era marked by faith in a modern future and a fascination with artistic abstraction. Each piece reads like a vignette from a time when daily rituals became an opportunity to express new ideals through design. The slender profiles and rhythmic lines recall the lightness of conversation over coffee, while the precise execution conjures the artistry of everyday home life. This coffee set can be displayed on a teak or
