The 'Ewa' coffee set from the Tułowice Porcelain Factory is a six-person service exemplifying the Polish mid-century modern design of the 1960s. The set includes a tall coffee pot (21 cm), creamer and sugar bowl (each 9 cm), six cups (6.5 cm), six saucers (12 cm diameter), and six dessert plates (17 cm diameter). Made from creamy, glazed stoneware, the pieces are decorated with geometric, abstract motifs in black and silvery-grey, arranged asymmetrically for a distinctly modernist effect. Matte black accents contrast with the subtle shimmer of the silver-grey details. The forms are organic and rounded, featuring pronounced, bulbous bodies, slender spouts and handles, and lids topped with small, pointed knobs reminiscent of berets.
