The 'Ira' coffee set, designed by Eugeniusz Renkowski for Zakłady Porcelitu in Chodzież in the 1960s, exemplifies modernist Polish ceramic design intended for export. The set consists of a tall coffee pot (22 × 11.5 × 22.5 cm), creamer (9 × 7 × 9 cm), sugar bowl (9 × 9 × 9 cm), six cups (6.5 × 8 × 10 cm), six saucers (2.5 × 14 × 14 cm), and six dessert plates (17 × 17 × 3 cm). Each piece is crafted from high-gloss glazed porcelainite, with a dominant deep black color highlighted by irregular gold veining. The interiors of the cups and the spout of the pot are finished in a radiant metallic gold, while gold accents also appear on the handles, rims, and lids. The forms are slender and geometric, with sharply defined lines characteristic of 1960s modernism. The surfaces are smooth and glossy, showing no signs of wear, restoration, or damage. The set is preserved in excellent condition.
