The 'Iza' coffee set is a refined example of Polish modernist design from the 1960s, created by Józef Wrzesień for the Chodzież Porcelain Factory. The set includes a tall, slender coffee pot (height 21.5 cm, width 16.5 cm), a creamer (height 9 cm, width 8 cm), a sugar bowl (height 8.5 cm, width 7.5 cm), and six cups (height 5.7 cm, width 7.5 cm) with matching saucers (diameter 12.8 cm). Each piece is crafted from fine porcelain with a smooth, flawless texture. The glossy black exterior serves as a canvas for irregular, gold patterning reminiscent of marble veining, applied in a reflective, decorative technique. The interiors of the cups and the spout of the pot are finished in metallic gold, and the handles and select details are also accented in gold.
