ABOUT PRODUCTID 37676
The “Sonia” coffee set for six, designed by Wiesława Gołajewska in 1965 for Pruszków Porcelain Factory, is a distinctive example of Polish utilitarian modernism from the 1960s. The set comprises a tall coffee pot with lid (24 cm high), a sugar bowl with lid, a creamer, and six cups (6.5 cm high, 8 cm in diameter) with matching saucers (13.5 cm in diameter). All pieces are crafted from porcelain and marked “PRUSZKÓW/MADE IN POLAND”. The dominant color is a cool, deep jade green with a speckled glaze effect, contrasted by white interiors and rims. Handles, spout, and finials are finished in glossy gold, accentuating the elongated, modernist lines and refined silhouette. Each element features a smooth, flowing form—gently flaring at the base and tapering upward. The porcelain surface is smooth and glossy. The set is in very good condition—one saucer
