This large lidded jar, designed by Carlo Moretti in the 1970s, is a sophisticated example of Italian Murano glass, combining minimalist precision with artisanal craftsmanship. The body, executed in deep, saturated cobalt blue, is made from thick, matte glass and gently tapers towards the base, presenting a clean, elongated cylindrical profile. The lid is finished with a sculptural, tiered knob referencing the geometric clarity of modernist design. Contrasting with the vivid blue, the semi-translucent white stem and foot in matte glass add a sense of lightness and provide a seamless, balanced transition between color and base.
