ABOUT PRODUCTID 37677
The 'Elżbieta' mocha set, designed by Wacław Górski in 1958 for the Chodzież and Ćmielów porcelain factories, is an emblematic example of mid-century Polish porcelain. Crafted from high-quality glazed porcelain, the set is distinguished by its saturated, warm red surface, accented with delicate gilding along the rims. The vivid red envelops the exterior of the cups, saucers, pot, and creamer, while crisp white highlights on handles, interiors, rims, and bases provide sharp contrast and emphasize the geometric, elongated lines of the ensemble. The modernist character is further reflected in the conical cups and tall, cylindrical pot, all with a smooth and glossy finish. The original manufacturer's mark—used from the mid-1940s through the 1960s—remains visible on the base. The set is preserved in very good condition, free from damage, chips, or visible wear, with all original construction
