The ONE METER floor lamp by Pholc, designed by Maria Bruun and Anne Dorthe Vester in 2023, features a cylindrical structure with a rounded top and a central recessed opening. The cocoon material, distinguished by its delicate, fibrous texture, is stretched over an aluminum frame, allowing for subtle light diffusion and a sense of visual lightness. The matte, warm white surface is adorned with evenly spaced, vertical silver-gray lines that accentuate the lamp's geometry and proportions. The absence of visible fasteners or hardware preserves the purity of its minimalist composition. With a height of 100 cm and a diameter of 32 cm, the lamp maintains balanced, harmonious proportions. The lamp comes with an E27 light source (maximum 15 W) included. ONE METER employs the visual language of Scandinavian simplicity and mid-century modernism, expressing calm and harmony through the interplay of light, proportion, and materials.
