The CHAIN 158 pendant lamp by Thoro consists of five elongated, rounded segments made from powder-coated steel in a uniform, matte yellow shade. Measuring 158 cm in length, 10 cm in width, and up to 200 cm in suspension height, the lamp features two parallel cylindrical diffusers in opal white acrylic or polycarbonate that distribute light evenly both upwards and downwards. Suspended on thin, almost invisible steel cables, with a single black cord adding a subtle accent, all construction joints are concealed to enhance the clarity of the lamp’s graphic, linear silhouette. The surface is smooth and matte, with no visible gloss or texture.The rhythmic arrangement of segments creates a sense of calm, while the matte yellow finish evokes associations with early morning light, infusing the space with gentle energy.
